The Contemporary Art museum of Latvia is the latest revitalization of abandoned building in the former Soviet states, Latvia. Located in Andrejsala, this new museum is created as an expansion of the Latvian National Art museum where its space is limited.

Designed by Rafael Viñoly, the museum of Modern Arab Art is dedicated for Sheikh Hassan Bin Mohammed Al-Thani who has great collection ranging from articles, quranic manuscript, and abstract painting. Covering 33,000 sqm, the exterior of the museum blends into the landscape, and I think it looks great. The completion of the project is expected due in 2011.
